Annie
Annie was such a surprise for us. We expected a heavy, long legged, boxy dog out of the pup we had chosen. We got a shorter, slender, wisp of a dog whose goal in life was to find the birds. It took Annie a little while to mature and find her birdiness, but it did kick in, she adored the game. Annie had a natural retrieve, but not a soft mouth.
Annie is the daughter of Calypso's Blizzard and High Cotton Ben. She is very heat tolerant, and has a lot of drive. Her coat color is beautiful tri-chestnut
Annie was spayed because she never became pregnant despite many attempts. She hunted quail and pheasant and was what we call an "honest" dog. If she was on point, you had better believe there was a bird, because Annie never lied.
She too is retired and lives a good life hiking and running in the woods with our oldest daughter and her husband.
